I have a special connection with the former GDR. I lived within it’s borders in East Berlin. I’ve played in many different towns and cities of the alte DDR. I learned how to speak German (Badly!) really through friends in the East who didn’t speak English. Dresden, Leipzig, and of course Berlin have a very special place in my heart. So i feel a bit of the emotion too today when thinking of the wall falling…

well thank you my heart. coming from you, i really appreciate it. also the german-tryout, hehe. unfortunately, regardless the constant media coverage in france during the last weeks, and even being on the place de la concorde three days ago, where the official french celebration was to take place which was between boring and meaningless, i kinda missed to catch the feeling.
however, thanks for worthying this date! i believe you know its importance for the people (and the country and the world). who does not: look in the faces of the people who were filmed that night…
