This week, our featured artist on Signals From Southwark is E-Lectribe resident, DJ Newman from Kassel, Germany.
E-Lectribe has become one of the most happening “Big Room” events in Germany in recent years, hosting some real techno heavyweights like The Advent, Speedy J, Miss Djax, and on this particular evening, Green Velvet. I’ve been fortunate enough to play there two times myself, most recently filling in for a sick Dave Clarke earlier this year.
Here, Newman dished up some up front minimal/techno/house crossover, going into more dangerous territory as the set progresses. Enjoy!
