Two sets from me from the same night at Distillery in Leipzig. I’m actually posting this after just getting off the train back from there. Great crowd and atmosphere, I think maybe the full moon had a bit of an effect as it seemed to be a particularly crazy night.

This week, we proudly present Lakker’s devastating live set from Suicide last month- totally tore it up, had one of the Bar staff demanding to know who the hell it was who had started up at the beginning of the set.

The anticipated crowd reaction was a touch and go thing on that evening, it was envisaged it could go either way at the challenging nature of the music presented. However, the Lakker boys managed (I believe) to pull it off totally on their own terms.

This weeks Signals is another recording from the New Years Eve event at Suicide Circus, from DJ Mori AKA Mori Norihiko. Hailing from Japan he moved to Berlin 13 years ago, where aside from being a Sushi chef he is a regular patron and sometimes resident at Suicide Circus. Over the first 2 hours and 30 minutes of this particular evening he dished up a deep mix of experimental dubbed out grooves.

DJ FLUSH is the main man behind KILLEKILL and has been a DJ for 15 years now. Pushing the borders of electronic music, his mixes cross over from chicago jack and booty tracks to electro, from distorted no future techno sounds to rather minimal funk – dirty, freaky and often with a big drop of acid. He played at more or less all relevant clubs in Berlin as well as internationally, as in Poland, France, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Mexico, Spain etc.

With his long experience and his diverse influences he brings together different sounds and styles and manages to hold the thin line between being there for his audience to make have a raving party – and educating as an innovator in the electronic music scene as a DJ and as a promoter.
